Ok, let me start it out in this way: Have you guys seen the new cover art for The Monster in the Hollows and The Warden and the Wolf King?!?!?!?!
It is so AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know that is a little over the top with exclamation points; but that’s me and the Wingfeather Saga and art! My goal is to be able to create such wonderful works of art, just like those covers!
And in my title it said we can talk about what we want to be. Just thought it would be a fun place to share our hobbies and stuff, so here is what I have to say:
I want to be an artist, if that is not already evident. Also, I like to write and aim to publish at least one book. But I also believe that I ought to be able to support myself later in life, so I thought I might take up welding… (I am only 14, so I have a lot of time to think about this.) Welding is a form of art, and pays really well! So yeah, maybe I’ll try and get a degree in that.
I also love snails. I have nine, but I used to have sixty because a couple of them laid eggs. I learned to stay on top of that. Anyway, I also like to sing for the fun of it. Among my other hobbies:
The Great Outdoors
What about you guys?

To start with, WINGFEATHER SAGA!!!!! I can’t get over what a masterful piece of literature it is! Andrew Peterson has inspired me so much, and I love how beautiful the writing and story are!
Anyway, obviously I’m sure y’all know that. 🙂
I am a competitive figure skater, I am at the fifth level out of eight, and I love jumping! (aka leaping into the air and spinning around multiple times before landing on a thin piece of steal) Sorry I’m not trying to brag but when I write it out like that it kinda shocks myself that I have enough courage to do that…
I love reading and writing, and am currently in the process of writing a medieval fantasy series. I probably wouldn’t be doing this if it weren’t for Wingfeather Saga, but I have been inspired at how amazing Christian fantasy can really be!
I also really like LOTR and Star Trek Voyager.
I am super organizationally driven, and I love sorting things… That probably sounds weird…
I am no artist like Wingiby, but I enjoy photography and film-making.
As for what I want to be when I grow up, I’m really interested in Nuclear Physics, Astronomy, and a degree in Film-making. I’m also going to want to take self-defense training and flight lessons. Hopefully I’m going to live long enough to accomplish all of this! 🙂
Sorry that was unbelievably long…
Throne Warden in Christ,

That’s awesome, Denali! Skating is super cool, but I could never imagine doing anything like that (It takes me 15 min to get balanced)! You have some awesome hobbies!
May 11, 2020 at 4:31 pm #48255Kylie WingfeatherGuest
So, my favorite hobbies. People, prepare yourselves for a very long post.
I am a novice, almost prizewinner Irish dancer. I love reading, sewing, playing outside, writing books which I unfortunately never finish, acting in Shakespeare plays, being with my friends, playing with my pet rats, and a whole lot of other things. My mom homeschools me and my little sister. My favorite books are (In order): The Wingfeather Saga, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, The Chronicles of Narnia… I love books :). I aspire to be a bookstore owner one day. I also like to draw. I am twelve, thirteen this winter.
Surprisingly, this was not as long as I thought it would be.
~ Kylie, Throne Warden to a crazy younger sister.

I enjoy writing and want to become a published author, but my Dream is to be a politician. Some of my hobbies are writing, reading, ceramics, and school. I’m good at debates, academics, spelling, and English. (Fun fact—I placed first in my whole state at English at the state Beta convention) Anyways, I won’t get into what I want to do—politics—because it would be a VERY long post
May 11, 2020 at 5:33 pm #48258Wingiby IggibyGuest
These are great, you guys! Everybody has such different things they love to do, its so cool!
May 11, 2020 at 6:22 pm #48265Denali ChristiansonGuest
Irish dancing, Kylie? That’s so cool! I have a friend who used to Irish dance, but then she quit in favor of ballet.
It’s really cool that you want to be a bookstore owner, too! I know I wouldn’t have enough patience for that… 🙂
And I love that you want to be a politician, smikdiforgsmiffer! That’s really cool! And sorry if I didn’t spell that right. 🙂
Also fun fact: I’m a Throne Warden but I have no siblings to protect. It’s awful!
May 11, 2020 at 6:39 pm #48270OREOGuest
I like making stuff, I love climbing, wrestling with my siblings,I also like making comics, writing, playing out side, and I like reading but I am really picky with books.
I use to take panting lessons, but then I realized that I didn’t enjoy panting, so that’s why I quit. And around the same time that I did panting I also did karate. But quit that too.
May 11, 2020 at 6:40 pm #48271OREOGuest
I would technically be considered a high king or queen.
May 11, 2020 at 6:40 pm #48272Kylie WingfeatherGuest
How could she quit for ballet! I tried it once and it is not for me.
May 11, 2020 at 6:43 pm #48273OREOGuest
Seems like it would hurt your toes.
May 11, 2020 at 6:44 pm #48274Kylie WingfeatherGuest
My sister would be a high queen. Ahhhh! I love my sister, but, still, Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!
May 11, 2020 at 7:00 pm #48280OREOGuest
My older sister would be a throne warden and my younger sister would be a song maiden.
What would happen if Now had four children instead of three. What would the for be considered?
May 11, 2020 at 7:01 pm #48281OREOGuest
I meant Nia
May 11, 2020 at 7:03 pm #48283Denali ChristiansonGuest
The fourth sibling and all others after are Lore Wains. They spread the legend of Anniera and keep it alive in the hearts of the peoples.
I used to take ballet to supplement my skating. Three words: I HATE IT!!!! I’m so bad at it and it’s just annoying and frustrating and BORING!!!! I mean no offense to ballerinas, but I can’t deal with it.
May 11, 2020 at 7:10 pm #48285OREOGuest
Well if we are being honest then…
I felt the same exact way with art! It was soooo boring!
May 11, 2020 at 7:10 pm #48286Kylie WingfeatherGuest
If Janner had a twin, would that person be a throne warden like him, or would he/she be something different?
May 11, 2020 at 7:13 pm #48287OREOGuest
Maybe there should be two throne wardens.
May 11, 2020 at 7:16 pm #48288Wingiby IggibyGuest
I’m a throne warden, and I think I might like it better than being a high queen. As for Ballet, yeah, I feel for you. I do not like to watch it, for it is pretty boring for my taste (no offence to ballerinas, it does take a lot of talent). I prefer to draw, cause I love to see the finished product; even if after a week I don’t think it looks good at all.
May 11, 2020 at 7:37 pm #48291OREOGuest
I think I would much prefer to be a throne warden.
May 11, 2020 at 8:32 pm #48296Denali ChristiansonGuest
I’m so happy to be a throne warden, despite the fact that I have no one to protect…
May 12, 2020 at 9:34 am #48313CrazywriterGuest
I aspire to be published, but like most of you, don’t want that to be my livelihood. I want to join the AF and become a SERE(Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape) Specialist, or a PJ. Denali, if you want flying lessons, think about the Civil Air Patrol, its the AF’s Auxiliary. By that i mean that we go to weekly meetings, wear uniforms, make rank, and other stuff. We go to age-appropriate 1 week training which is AWESOME. But you get yelled at. Like, alot. But its still AWESOME, and (Sorry for drawing this out) i got to fly a plane. There was a pilot who took me and another cadet up in a CESSNA and we got turns flying it. We also have flight academies which, if completed, allow you to almost get your private flying license. Wait, maybe you do get it. I’m not sure.
Sorry my post is so long!
May 14, 2020 at 1:11 pm #48547Marcus TheendGuest
That sounds cool. I’ve always wanted to fly, but unfortunately I was diagnosed with type one diabetes when I was 7. It prohibits you from active duty military, and most flight jobs. I think instead I’m gonna try to make it to a SWAT team, and be a sniper(I know it’s kinda violent, but I have a weird obsession with weapons, and it’s the closest I can get to military) but your dream job sounds awesome!
May 14, 2020 at 1:22 pm #48551CrazywriterGuest
Thanks! SWAT sounds cool!
May 14, 2020 at 1:28 pm #48554Marcus TheendGuest
I just kinda like that the snipers get to use the Remington 700P chambered in 338 Lapua Magnum(2,942Fps muzzle velocity with standard 26’ barrel). That thing makes body armor look like cardboard(lol). What are you looking most forward to flying?
May 14, 2020 at 1:23 pm #48552Marcus TheendGuest
You probably know a bit more about Air-force than me. Is the survival rifle used still the GAU-5/A collapsible chambered in 5.56 by 45 mm NATO ammunition(3,025FPS muzzle velocity)? I heard they were replacing it with a new Sig Sauer rifle chambered in 6.8 mm by 43mm lightweight ammo. Let me know if I’m correct or if I’m just ranting🙂
May 14, 2020 at 1:38 pm #48556CrazywriterGuest
I honestly have no idea about guns. So I’m not gonna fly, I want to be an instructor for Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape. But in the CAP, what i was telling Denali about, i will prolly fly. And you could join that too! They don’t turn down people for diabetes
May 14, 2020 at 3:17 pm #48575Marcus TheendGuest
It depends. I can’t be active duty military. I can get a pilots license if I can get a waiver
May 14, 2020 at 3:23 pm #48576Marcus TheendGuest
Just looked it up. CAP looks cool, but I don’t think it’s something I would do. Unfortunately I taught myself so much about weapons that It’s become something that I could honestly enjoy adapting into a career. I know you can’t relate(I’m a bit insane), just my thoughts.
May 14, 2020 at 3:29 pm #48578CrazywriterGuest
Ok, well i like guns, but don’t know much about all the letters and numbers. But i like shooting! Do you hunt?
May 14, 2020 at 4:04 pm #48584Marcus TheendGuest
Not really. I kinda want to though. The closest I got is shooting rats that infested our chicken coop. What’s your favorite firearm? It doesn’t have to be one you’ve fired
May 14, 2020 at 4:10 pm #48585CrazywriterGuest
So my favorite is one i have shot, an AR. Ok cool. Me and my dad hunt with crossbow
May 14, 2020 at 9:45 pm #48624Denali ChristiansonGuest
I am officially lost. I know zero about weapons of any sort. However, I did shoot a bow and arrow once. That is the extent of my knowledge! 🙂
May 15, 2020 at 10:50 am #48654Marcus TheendGuest
I do enjoy a traditional long bow.
May 15, 2020 at 11:00 am #48655CrazywriterGuest
Bows are awesome!
May 15, 2020 at 11:01 am #48656Wingiby iggybiGuest
I’ve shot a BB gun a few times, and I’ve done a bit of archery. I hope to do more with guns!
May 12, 2020 at 1:28 pm #48334Denali ChristiansonGuest
Crazywriter that sounds epic! I’ll totally look into it! How much does it cost? And don’t worry about adding detail to a post about something you’re excited about – it’s really fun reading a long post by someone else about what they enjoy! 🙂
May 12, 2020 at 2:16 pm #48341JazzyfreshGuest
My hobbies are reading, snowboarding (even though I can’t do it often) and sketching\drawing. I also like outside, Foxes and collaborative story righting. In my family I would be considered a throne warden, which I enjoy also.
May 12, 2020 at 2:18 pm #48343CrazywriterGuest
It depends on your state Denali. Generally to join, its about 25-50 bucks. Where do you live? Oh but flight academies are a lot more. But you can get scholarships that pay your way.
Oh, if we’re talking of wingfeather positions, i’d be the fourth lore wain. There are 7 of us!
May 12, 2020 at 2:26 pm #48348CrazywriterGuest
Wait OREO, do you have 2 accounts?
May 12, 2020 at 2:35 pm #48352OREOGuest
On my gosh!! I can’t believe I put panting!
I meant painting!!!!
May 12, 2020 at 3:03 pm #48366Denali ChristiansonGuest
hehehehe I was wondering about that Oreo! I’m like, what’s panting? That sounds kinda cool! 🙂
I would rather not say where I live, but we’ll just go with midwestern US.
May 12, 2020 at 3:22 pm #48379CrazywriterGuest
Ok. So i’ll give you the joining fees.
N. Dakota- $31
S.Dakota – $32
But its totally worth it! I would advise you to join if you are interested in flying
May 13, 2020 at 12:27 am #48429Denali ChristiansonGuest
Cool! Can you add a few more states further west? Mine didn’t quite make it on there… Thanks for the info, by the way! This is really helpful!

I hope that covers you. If not let me know. The site is
Thats for membership dues. The site for info is

Yep, you got me! I’ll totally look into that!
May 13, 2020 at 3:59 pm #48470CrazywriterGuest
Great! It’s an awesome program!
May 13, 2020 at 4:43 pm #48491Wingiby IggibyGuest
I don’t really know how much I am looking forward to driving a car; so to those who are brave enough to fly a plane, HURRAH!
May 13, 2020 at 7:30 pm #48512CrazywriterGuest
So are you competitive enough to go to Olympics Denali?
May 13, 2020 at 8:46 pm #48516Wingiby IggibyGuest
I know this is sorta random, but one of my snails got a crack in his shell (FUN FACT: Snails are usually both boys and girls, so you don’t have to guess and can name them whatever you want!), so me and my dad had to patch it.
The hole was very tiny, but enough to be worried about. Half of his shell is covered in Plaster of Paris, because it is difficult work to repair a miniscule hole. My dad did the plastering, and I did the cleaning before that.
He is quarantined temporarily so the other snails won’t get into his plaster. I hope he will be alright. My poor snail!!!!!!!
May 13, 2020 at 10:10 pm #48518Denali ChristiansonGuest
Oh that’s so sad and cute at the same time Wingiby! I’ve never had a pet snail, but that’s really cool! What’s the poor guy’s name?
My pet is a giant 70 pound dog. Y’all have yet to guess her name, but again, it starts with E!
I also have a pet White’s tree frog. His name is Basil, and he’s huge – bigger than the average frog. He’s overweight…
And Crazywriter, I’m not competitive enough for the Olympics yet, but that’s my goal. Probably in a few years. I’ll let you know what my skating name is then…that way you can watch me on TV and know who I am! 🙂
May 14, 2020 at 11:50 am #48534Wingiby IggibyGuest
I haven’t named my snails because it is hard to tell them apart, but this one will definitely be recognizable! I think I will name him Billy.
And you have a tree frog!!!!!!!!!!I love frogs!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love lizards, frogs, toads, snakes, turtles, tortoises, and snails!!!!!
My dog weighs fifteen pounds, but he makes up for his small size in craziness. He is like greased lightning if you try to chase him outside, and he loves to play tug-of-war.
And that would be so darn cool if you became a competitive figure skater!
May 13, 2020 at 10:14 pm #48520CrazywriterGuest
So your skating name isn’t your real name?
May 13, 2020 at 10:19 pm #48523Denali ChristiansonGuest
Nope other way around. My skating name is my real name, the one I use on here is my pen name. However, it might as well be my real name because that’s what everybody calls me!
May 13, 2020 at 11:22 pm #48524CrazywriterGuest
May 14, 2020 at 8:59 am #48530CrazywriterGuest
I’m not that good, but IF i was fast enough, which I’m working on, I’m looking at the Olympic 400-meter race
May 14, 2020 at 12:14 pm #48537CrazywriterGuest
So do ya’ll know each other? Seems like you’re friends. I mean like, you know who each other are
May 14, 2020 at 7:08 pm #48596OREOGuest
Denali and wingiby, or just every one on this topic?
May 14, 2020 at 7:17 pm #48598CrazywriterGuest
May 14, 2020 at 7:17 pm #48599CrazywriterGuest
Why, do Denali and Wingiby know each other?
May 14, 2020 at 7:42 pm #48602OREOGuest
I have no idea.
May 14, 2020 at 7:43 pm #48603OREOGuest
But I do know Jazzy.
May 14, 2020 at 9:49 pm #48625Denali ChristiansonGuest
I do not know Wingiby. I don’t think…
Okay wouldn’t that be really creepy if one day we find out that we all know each other?!
So anyway, I just got on this forum for the first time like two weeks ago and was totally lost and so I just clicked on the Warden and the Wolf King topic because that’s my fave Wingfeather Saga book and then just posted something on the strand with the ending – and Wingiby found me! So I just kinda followed her around for a bit until I learned the ropes and now we kinda know each other a little better! 🙂
May 14, 2020 at 10:04 pm #48627CrazywriterGuest
Yes, that would be creepy. So Denali, if you join CAP, and go to something called ‘encampment'(that 1 week age appropriate basic training type deal) tell me what state your going to. Cause if it’s Colorado or Wyoming I’ll prolly see you. I may be a staff(people who yell at you). So please tell me. That would be horrible if we met and had no idea
May 14, 2020 at 10:51 pm #48632Denali ChristiansonGuest
Dude that would be sad! Hey, we should figure out how to do a zoom meeting before then so that we can actually tell each other our names and contact info and location and stuff without being out on the great terrible internet…
Wait, Crazywriter, how old are you? Just wondering… I want to know what kinda age kid I’m gonna get yelled at by!!!! 😀
May 14, 2020 at 11:04 pm #48633CrazywriterGuest
Well first i wanna ask you if you’re really gonna join. Second, there are basics(the ones getting yelled at) that are 17 and staff that are 14, so it dont make exceptions. I am 14. However, maybe we should be a little mysterious, and coordodinate just features, and then by graduation we guess. Or not. That actually could turn out bad. But just cause i know you(well, kinda know you) dont meant i dont yell at ya. But wait, would it be likely that you’d go to CO? Sorry, i know i’m usually pretty quiet about these topics and i dont mean to wierd you out, but i’ll just say, I live in CO
May 14, 2020 at 11:30 pm #48636Denali ChristiansonGuest
I would love to say my location, but I really don’t think it’s a good idea. I’m 15 in a week, but I totally getcha. I don’t mind being yelled at by someone my age or someone a lot older than me. It’s just that really weird area in there between around 17 and 18 that don’t mix well with me…at least it I know the person…. I know – I’m weird!
Yeah, I’d go to CO if I went. I don’t know if I’ll go, cause I need to talk to my parents and pray about it to see if this is really where I should go, but I’d be in CO.
May 14, 2020 at 11:31 pm #48637Denali ChristiansonGuest
Would your parents let you set up a zoom meeting? Just wondering. We would do it in such a way that it would be private so that nobody could eavesdrop. Cause then we would know who each other were…
May 14, 2020 at 11:33 pm #48638Denali ChristiansonGuest
Wait, Crazywriter, have you heard of a place called Spring Canyon? It’s in Beauna Vista CO and it’s for military families. I’m not in a military family, but my family and I have been a number of times. If not you haven’t, you should check it out! It’s really an amazing place.
May 15, 2020 at 12:19 am #48640
I so appreciate your caution, you two. Way to be safe on the internet and to keep your parents looped in. Just wanted to pop in and say that. 🙂
May 19, 2020 at 6:19 pm #48974Denali ChristiansonGuest
*jumps* Aaaaahhh! oh, thank you, Madame Sidler! 🙂
May 15, 2020 at 8:14 am #48644CrazywriterGuest
Nope, never heard of it. About the zoom call, I’m not sure. I’d do it if i knew we’re going to do this encampment. But CAP like everything else is on hold. But once things open up, we’ll see what we can do
May 15, 2020 at 8:36 am #48645CrazywriterGuest
And Denali I totally understand your caution! I don’t mean to be weird or anything.
May 15, 2020 at 8:38 am #48646CrazywriterGuest
Yeah, and if we do go, I’ll talk to my parents about a zoom call.
May 15, 2020 at 10:45 am #48653CrazywriterGuest
So Denali, if we did a zoom call, wouldn’t we have to have to post the ID and password? Which means everyone who sees could join?
May 15, 2020 at 3:12 pm #48682CrazywriterGuest
Denali, do you like chess?
May 15, 2020 at 10:37 pm #48724Denali ChristiansonGuest
Yeah, so it would be difficult to do a zoom meeting at all. We would probably have to do something where we joined the meeting and then emailed the other person another link to a different meeting so that not just anybody could join. So yeah…
And I used to know how to play chess, but I haven’t played it in years. I wasn’t a huge fan of it then, but I could probably relearn it and try playing it again.
And I still don’t know if I can go to the flight thing, so I guess no zoom meeting for awhile.
May 15, 2020 at 10:40 pm #48725CrazywriterGuest
Well, i was wondering cause there is a chess site called chess.com where you could make an account, get my username, and we could play a game. There is a chat bar, and it is deleted after every game(i think) So that would be much safer
May 15, 2020 at 10:40 pm #48726CrazywriterGuest
Sorry, don’t mean to be obnoxious. I can be 100% extrovert at times. Sorry again.
May 15, 2020 at 10:45 pm #48728Denali ChristiansonGuest
No you’re totally good. I would normally say yes, but my Dad is not okay with that type of thing and I’m honestly not totally comfortable with that type of thing outside of this site because I know everybody here is obsessed with Wingfeather Saga – and is a strong Christian. So yeah. I totally get being extrovert at times. I’m like that too. 🙂
May 15, 2020 at 10:48 pm #48730CrazywriterGuest
Ok, i understand. But in the meantime, we can share more stories!!!!!!
May 15, 2020 at 10:55 pm #48733Denali ChristiansonGuest
YAY!!!! Stories!!!! 🙂
May 16, 2020 at 1:58 pm #48779CrazywriterGuest
So if you could, what country would any of you go to. Any country?
May 16, 2020 at 2:05 pm #48781OREOGuest
Probably Puerto Rico, cause my grandma and grandpa use to live there. And if I’m there long enough I might learn how to speak Spanish more fluently.
May 16, 2020 at 2:14 pm #48784CrazywriterGuest
Thats cool. I’d like to see europe
May 16, 2020 at 2:31 pm #48787OREOGuest

Scotland. I love the scenery pics I’ve seen from their and their history is so fascinating.
I also want to go to Ireland so I can see AP’s Castle Rock!
May 16, 2020 at 5:05 pm #48799CrazywriterGuest
Wait, Castle Rock is a thing?
May 18, 2020 at 10:02 am #48860Kylie WingfeatherGuest
Europe is amazing! About 2 years ago me and my family went to France for three weeks. I only have three words to describe it: Amazing, Beautiful, Tasty. Oh brother. Now I’m thinking about the food, which is making my mouth water. Why did we ever leave France? I could be snacking on madelines and macaroons right now.
May 18, 2020 at 10:05 am #48861CrazywriterGuest
What are madelines and macaroons?
Me and my two sisters want to take a trip to Normandy sometime
May 18, 2020 at 10:51 am #48862Wingiby iggybiGuest
I’d love to go to Ireland, and travel Europe, because yeah, the history!
I would also love to travel across the United States, cause I haven’t done that. Boy would it be cool to march the Oregon trail and raft the Grand Canyon; see the tall red woods and visit beautiful Idaho! I love our Country!
May 18, 2020 at 11:02 am #48864Kylie WingfeatherGuest
Madelines and macaroons are french cookies. They’re delicious!
May 18, 2020 at 2:43 pm #48874CrazywriterGuest
Wow, they sound good Kylie!
Those are good ideas Wingiby! Until you said something, i had no idea you could raft the grand canyon. But i’ll tell you of some great places to go. i’ve really enjoyed going to these places!
Carlsbad Caverns, NM
Garden of the gods, CO
Oil Well Flats, CO
Gulf Shores, AL
Boothbay Harbor, ME
Niagara Falls, NY
May 18, 2020 at 3:52 pm #48879Wingiby IggibyGuest
Oh, I’ve been to Gulf Shores! Loved it (my snails came too)! we went to Lambert’s cafe (they are know for throwing their rolls!). Did you go there? Their food is some of the best I have ever tasted in a restaurant.
I’ll mention those placed to my parents, they sound cool! Thanks for the list, cause they might become some of our future destinations (and boy would I love to see Niagara Falls, my mom went there once before!).
I love visiting places (not so much the long car rides)! Oh, and on rafting the Grand Canyon, Answers in Genesis gives tours. You get to ride in a big raft and splash down the Canyon with a bunch of other people; and the Answers in Genesis guides tell you all about it from a Biblical Worldview!

May 19, 2020 at 2:05 pm #48936OREOGuest

May 19, 2020 at 2:29 pm #48942CrazywriterGuest

May 19, 2020 at 8:15 pm #49008OREOGuest

Do you have any sports that you would recommend?
May 19, 2020 at 8:22 pm #49009CrazywriterGuest
Well, this would depend on your gender but Football is AWESOME! Then basketball
May 19, 2020 at 8:27 pm #49010Wingiby IggibyGuest
I haven’t done any sports, but I love swimming just for fun, and I used to take piano and voice lessons. At the moment I am caught up in writing and drawing.
May 19, 2020 at 8:41 pm #49011CrazywriterGuest
Wait, your a gal right Wingiby? Trying to place you among all the others.
There is a majority of gals on the chat. Kinda funny. I dont think i’ve met a boy yet
May 19, 2020 at 8:44 pm #49012Wingiby IggibyGuest
Yea, I’m a gal. I don’t know if there are other boys….. I’m sure there are, though. Maybe you just gotta look around.
May 19, 2020 at 8:45 pm #49013CrazywriterGuest
Yeah, i guess. I guess none of you are as fanatic about football as me 🙁
May 19, 2020 at 8:45 pm #49014CrazywriterGuest
Ever played octaball?
May 19, 2020 at 8:46 pm #49015Denali ChristiansonGuest
Ahhh, football. The most violent normal sport I can think of…okay soccer’s pretty bad too.
I vote figure skating.
May 19, 2020 at 8:50 pm #49016CrazywriterGuest
Ok, hold up. What about rugby? Thats pretty violent. Ever seen that clip of Louisville Basketball player whose leg bone popped right out of his leg? Yeah, maybe not violence but still…you know.
Football is the best sport ever. Ice skating(not sure about figure skating) is pretty awesome as well
May 20, 2020 at 1:55 pm #49037OREOGuest
Yah,my parents aren’t really football fans.
May 20, 2020 at 1:57 pm #49040OREOGuest
UFC is what I call a violent sport.
May 20, 2020 at 2:18 pm #49053CrazywriterGuest
UFC is prolly pretty violent
May 20, 2020 at 2:32 pm #49060Kylie WingfeatherGuest
What is UFC?
May 20, 2020 at 2:41 pm #49065Denali ChristiansonGuest
Okay, I’ll give you that. Rugby is pretty bad. I got no clue what UFC is…
And figure skating is basically ice skating that happens at the Olympics that’s not hockey or speed skating. That’s what I do.
May 20, 2020 at 3:24 pm #49076OREOGuest
It’s like boxing without gloves.
And your aloud to kick too, if you want to know more then you can look up UFC on the web.
May 20, 2020 at 3:55 pm #49086Denali ChristiansonGuest
ooooooooohhhhh. Yeah that sounds worse than football…
May 20, 2020 at 4:39 pm #49094CrazywriterGuest
Ultimate Fighting Championship.
One of my friends saw somebody skating(dont take this like i dont like skating) fall down, just as the person in front of him/her was shoving off with her skate and the back of the blade caught the guy in the face. Ohhh, just hurts to think about. That being said, while there are sports more dangerous than others, ultimately God is sovreign and when its your time to go, its your time to go, even if your playing ping-pong.
I LOVE Stonewall Jackson’s response to a general who asked him why he was so calm on the battlefield. He said, ““My religious belief teaches me to feel as safe in battle as in bed. God has fixed the time for my death. I do not concern myself about that, but to be always ready, no matter when it may overtake me. That is the way all men should live, and then all would be equally brave.”
May 20, 2020 at 8:14 pm #49124OREOGuest
Ooooh! That sounds painful.

I have no idea if anyone wants to hear this, but I went surfing with a giant red lobster named Lobby. He’s as big as I am, and a pro.
May 26, 2020 at 1:18 pm #49311OreoGuest
A real lobster?!
That sounds really fun!
May 26, 2020 at 1:20 pm #49312OreoGuest
Did anyone do anything else fun on memorial day?
May 26, 2020 at 1:39 pm #49319Wingiby IggibyGuest
Nah, unfortunately he was not. He was a giant blow up lobster that I laid on and caught some waves on. It was at the beach in Pensecola, and I am not a surfer, sadly 🙁 But we did have a great time, and using an innertube to surf with sure is fun!
May 26, 2020 at 1:39 pm #49321Wingiby IggibyGuest
We came home from vacation on Memorial day, and stopped at this adorable little ice cream shop in Alabama!
May 26, 2020 at 1:48 pm #49323OreoGuest
My grandma’s cousin would usually have a picnic around this time of year to celebrate memorial day, but thanks to… (as I like to call it)…STINKEN CORONA VIRUS!!! We didn’t go this year.
May 26, 2020 at 2:26 pm #49324Wingiby IggibyGuest
OREO: That sounds downright awful! This whole covid-19 thing is just plain stupid. I went to the eye doctor, and we had to wear masks (thankfully I don’t need glasses)! They are so stuffy, and when you sit and wait around for forever, it gets old soon. This pandemic isn’t going to go away, but we people are going to die of boredom before sickness at this point.
May 26, 2020 at 6:42 pm #49340CrazywriterGuest
Agreed. It is.
May 26, 2020 at 7:10 pm #49343OreoGuest
Thankfully my parents don’t make me wear a mask when I go out
May 26, 2020 at 7:20 pm #49345Wingiby IggibyGuest
yeah, mine don’t either. But at the eye doctor you HAD too! It’s exasperating.
May 26, 2020 at 9:05 pm #49352CrazywriterGuest
It would be great if they just let people get herd immunity
May 26, 2020 at 9:07 pm #49353
I’m sorry you guys are feeling frustrated with the virus. I think we all are. 🙁 I would rather we not have a political discussion here, however.
May 28, 2020 at 8:27 pm #49439OreoGuest
I noticed this topic is called Ambitions and ideas:what you want to be-talk about your hobbies.
So here is what I want to be when I get older, I really want to be an author and make comics, I know my first job probably isn’t going to be an author but maybe once I have an apartment or a house then I might try to sell a book or two.
May 28, 2020 at 8:54 pm #49441CrazywriterGuest
Great ambition OREO
May 28, 2020 at 8:58 pm #49442Wingiby IggibyGuest
Cool, OREO! I don’t know where you get the patience to do comics!
June 1, 2020 at 11:09 pm #49661Denali ChristiansonGuest
I HAVE NO PATIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay sorry that was way too much right there. But seriously. I have no patience…
June 2, 2020 at 4:57 am #49668OreoGuest
I have very low patience, that’s why I write comics more then novels
June 2, 2020 at 4:58 am #49669OreoGuest
And Denali do you always post at midnight?
June 2, 2020 at 12:33 pm #49687Marcus TheendGuest
i have zero patience as well. thats why i write poetry. i have a ton posted in the “poems” topic
June 2, 2020 at 1:22 pm #49700Denali ChristiansonGuest
haha, yeah, Oreo!
Actually this clock is messed up. I usually post at 10, and that’s only because I’m doing a ton of other stuff in the middle of the day…
I love your poems, Marcus! They’re so good.
I’m horrible at poetry. I don’t have patience, but I tend to write novels because I like action packed stuff.
June 5, 2020 at 3:04 pm #49920OreoGuest
WOW!!! Did anyone else notice that the fabbit room almost has 7,000 posts!!! That’s alot!
But when we hit 10,000 we should have some virtual party. 😉

It would be pretty awesome, (since alot of us all similar in age.) That before or after graduation we like arrange to meet up in a mcdonalds or something.
June 5, 2020 at 9:15 pm #49949OreoGuest
I might not graduate as soon as you guys but I could probably still meet up with y’all.(if I get my drivers license)
But it would be awesome to meet you guys in person sometime.

Producer, Director, or DP.
July 1, 2020 at 2:25 pm #50807OREOGuest
Cartoonist, author (for comics since its hard for me to write and finish a chapter book of my own)
July 1, 2020 at 3:07 pm #50820Wingiby IggibyGuest
I am working with polymer clay (which isn’t actually a clay, but a mix of plastics)! It’s fun!
July 1, 2020 at 9:44 pm #50863Denali ChristiansonGuest
That’s so cool, Wing! Sounds kinda creepy cool! ;D
I’m currently in the pre-production stage on a film I call “Quarantine Boredom!” I’m excited!

KYLIE: I will miss you! I really hope I could virtually see you again, and YES! If we could all meet in person, that would be AWESOME! I will certainly miss all of you. You guy’s have been so kind, and I have really enjoyed your friendships. I will always look back on my time here with a smile.

Hey all! Just letting you know that I’ll be closing the Flabbit Room subforum in about 30 minutes. (My lunchtime is a bit late today!) Once that happens, no further posting will be possible, but you’ll still be able to see old conversations until the new site is fully complete later this summer. I’ve loved having such a vibrant little community here, and am so glad you’re finding ways to stay connected. 🙂

Bye! Thanks for letting us know! I’m glad that the new one will be back up soon, at least. I’ll see you later this summer!
