There has been an increase in kidnappings in Nigeria.
Much of it has been linked to the conflict with Boko Haram Islamist militants, but that doesn’t make it any easier for Christians who are in Nigeria serving orphans and those in need.
According to the Free Methodist Church USA, Phyllis Sortor was taken from Hope Academy and being held for ransom.
“Correspondents say it has become a strategy that earns kidnappers millions of dollars a year.”
Please pray for Phyllis and the many other missionaries and human aid workers who face these kind of extreme dangers each and every day.
