One of our favorite guests, Dan Owens, joins us from Sixty Feet to talk about one of their latest programs, Homeward Bound.
This is another example of Sixty Feet’s excellent holistic approach in rescuing the imprisoned child of Uganda, Africa.
From the Sixty Feet website about the Homeward Bound program:
“Sixty Feet has always helped the government with resettling as needed which usually looks like one or two kids per month, until now. Last week, Sixty Feet was given a list of 80 kids that need to be resettled, 80 kids that just need to go home.
This is a very exciting prospect, however, resettlement is very expensive, and this list is very large. This is not a normal expense – we have never seen M1 this full of kids who are ready to leave but cannot. The average cost to resettle each child is $75.”
