I’m a little bit dumbfounded after reading this news article:
“According to a new study, pedophiles’ brains are “abnormally tuned” to find young children attractive.”
The story goes on, but that opening line really got me thinking:
- What’s the difference between ‘abnormally tuned’ and ‘natural’?
- And what moral compass is being used to decide what’s ‘normal’ and what’s ‘natural’?
In a world where moral relativism is on the rise, I wonder what kind of behavior science will be used to justify in the future…
