We’ve known that the number of girls in India has been on the decline.
Due to cultural effects, many affluent and educated couples in India choose to have an abortion after the gender of their unborn child is reveled to them.
But now, we’ve got some statistics that illustrate just how many girls are being exterminated.
According to CBN News,
Every 12 seconds, a baby girl is aborted in India. That’s about 7,000 girls killed every day just because they are females.
Isn’t that staggering?
What ever happened to a “Women’s Right?”
I suppose that still only applies to the born.
The United Nations now calls India the most dangerous place on earth for a girl.
I’m sure the fact that baby girls killed in India after birth has been a part of the United Nations assessment of India.
How can this change? How can the tide be turned for these girls?
It’s going to take an internal change within the Indian culture itself.
