Welcome!
Can I help you? Welcome to the Great Library of Ban Rona. I’m Madame Sidler, and I’m the librarian here. I’m delighted to welcome you to our book club. If you’d like to read (or re-read) The Wingfeather Saga alongside others, this is the place. Pull up a comfortable chair and help yourself to some tea (don’t spill on the books!). Our hope is that you’ll enjoy experiencing the Igibys’ journey together, get into some good conversations, and make a few friends along the way.

House rules
Book club house rules: Safety first: We have participants of all ages here, and the internet can be a tricky place. In order to keep everyone safe, we're going to be monitoring conversations, and inappropriate comments may be deleted. First, never share personal information such as your full name, school name, contact info (address, email, or phone number!), or where you are currently located or where you are going next. Second, we cannot allow profanity, bullying, any inappropriate links, or discussions about harming yourself or anyone else. If you are in danger—and we so, so much hope you are not!—please talk to a trusted adult in your home, school, church, or community. We can support each other, but we are not able to provide counseling, and no-one here can be responsible for anyone's safety. If you ever feel like anything you see is troubling or inappropriate, please talk to your parents, and please let me know in this thread here. Loving each other: Since our big hope for this book club is to facilitate community, it’s important that we all seek to honor each other with our words. We all love these books, but we won’t always agree. Let’s agree now, though, to be kind, no matter what. It’s okay to disagree as long as we do so respectfully. Everyone here is valuable. No meanery or insultence, please. I’m sure it hardly needs saying, but it’s safer to say it up front. Instead, I’d love to challenge each of us to look for ways to encourage each other. Spoilers: Some people really don’t like to know what happens in a story until they get there. Others don’t mind, and some even find it exciting to know what they can look forward to. A great discussion often requires spoilers. If you’re concerned about this, keep an eye on the forum discussion titles. I’ll make sure you’re alerted if there’s something in a thread that might reveal a surprise or plot twist. That’s it! Other than those three things, let’s just have fun. Enjoy the books, and enjoy each other. :-)
