The Ebola scare is still alive and well throughout the world and the sun has hardly set on this new epidemic that’s just now made its way from Africa to the Western world.
But there is one family that is going to the ‘heart of the storm’ with Samaritan’s Purse.
The Shirk Family Moves to Kenya
The Shirk family has moved to Kenya, despite the dangers of Ebola. Arianna is a pediatrician and will be working with Samaritan’s Purse, while David left his photography business behind for mission work in the area. However, David didn’t leave his camera behind, as you can clearly see on their blog. 🙂
Arianna told WIAT news:
“If you are going where you feel like God is calling you, and going to a place that feels like home, a place that you feel like you can love people well, and do your job the way that you were supposed to do it, then it’s worth the change and it’s worth the sacrifice”
You can follow the Shirk Adventure on their blog—and please consider supporting this awesome family.
