Ebola is all over the news, but sometimes it’s hard to get a handle on what exactly is going on with so much sensational news stories and politically driven rhetoric.
Ebola Deeply, however, “is an independent digital media project led by journalists and technologists that explores a new model of storytelling around a global crisis.”
Their goal is to “build a better user experience of the story by adding context to content, using the latest digital tools of the day” and hope that there will be “greater clarity, deeper understanding and more sustained engagement to the global conversation.”
Ebola Deeply was created by News Deeply…
…a new Benefit Corporation start up. They receive no government funding and earn revenue “through a mix of foundation grants and digital-design services.”
